my choise is desing is kicker. everybody likes different thing, there is no better. although im a huge kicker fan and, im happy with all the products i have.

yea, dude today i was day dreaming about car audio and then realized car audio is always on my mind. we gotta get your stuff hooked up i want to see how the amp rack is gonna look, i think it would look cool on the back wall. im curious to see how it will fit in the floor.

Thats an extremely broad question, but overall I would say kicker. But I also own kicker amps and kicker ss speakers. I would however LOVE to get some of the alpine pdx amplifiers. Also when you get up into alpines f-1 status stuff that is a whole different story. Maybe narrow your question down a little bit as there are probably alot of pros and cons to both companies products.

I personally feel they are too close on the same level for this to matter, and that when they're this close it just depends on your taste of music reproduction.

I think the subs are the same more or less, although I hate the square subs, and don't think any kicker sub is very pretty

I like alpine speakers for the sound, but kicker's speakers give a lot more bass, although I don't really want bass in my speakers anyway

I've got a kicker active bass crossover that has been running good for about a year and a half now...was a bit skeptical on running kicker products...been good so far though.

I'm a big fan of Alpine stuff. To be honest, I don't have any experience with the quality/performance/reliability/value/customer service for Kicker products, but I can speak highly about those areas with Alpine with first hand knowledge and experience.

As for design, I say Alpine hands down in my opinion. I would never consider giving Kicker products a try unless they stop making such brutally hideous amps and subs. They remind me of regular amps and subs wearing really cheesy (but violent) Halloween costumes. Is it a sub, or a Chinese star? Is that an amp, or a base for my old Go-Bots? Yikes!
