Alpine UTE-42BT Playback issues, please HELP!

I just installed the new Alpine UTE-42BT head unit in my friends Grand Cherokee. Upon start-up, everything looks good and the radio plays just fine through the speakers.

Once I switch source to BT audio it will pair my phone, and even control my music apps, but I am getting NOTHING through the speakers. No sound whatsoever. Has anyone had this experience with an Alpine deck before?

I'm totally stumped. USB cable, and AUX cable have no playback either. Radio plays just fine.
