why in the fuking world does the hp filter on the hu affect the subs output? esp w/having 3pre amp outputs w/1 sub specific???

how do you fix this pblm, just turn all that shyt off & use amps for everything else., b/c i like to have the hp filter on my high's at 80 or 120, so should i turn the lpf up super high - it just seems like that doesn't do anythin when turn it up or down
