Alpine TypeR with Hifonics

i have a question for the audio experts

If i have 2 12" alpine Type-R 300wrms each . Would it work good with the hifonics bX1500 at 2 ohms + 1000w?

I will be running a single Type R wired to 2 ohms on a Hifonics BX1500D. I would think 2 would sound great too.

so u think it would be better to get the 4 ohm version of the Type R and wire it to 1 ohm to the Hifonics BX1500 so that each sub gets 750wrms? or keep them at 500wrms?

Only buy a few watts... you'll be fine, just adjust the gains right.

you shouldnt have a problem as long as you set your gains right, I have a PG tantrum 1200.1 with a birth sheet that says it does like 1485, I have it powering two type r 12s at 4ohms so over 700 rms each and they work fine and i have never had a problem with them
