Alpine Type-R Vs. MTX Thunder 7500 T7512-04

I would say anything from the 7500's and up for MTX is superior to the Alpine R's. MTX's hit very, very hard. And theres a huge price gap, between MTX subs and Al pine's MTX sledgehammer, enclosed subs are the ish. They handle so much power, and hit so, so hard. 2 9500 10's was literally painfull, like getting socked in the head, 1500 watts RMS to 2 mean little woofers. I don't think that the Type X sub can compete past MTX 7500's. They are pretty intense.

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.
