Alpine Type-R 6.5s or JL XR 6.5s?

I'm getting kickpanels for my accord doors and was wondering if I keep my Type-r components or switch to JL XR 6.5s? If going with the XR 6.5s, I will most likely get the JL 300/4 amplifier. My type-r components are currently being powered by an Alpine PDX-4.100.

I'm looking to see which system would sound better. I think the kickpanels will make a big difference between my stock panels.

Any suggestions?

really? those jl components will be better than my type r components? what about the amp? the pdx or the 300/4?

also, im actually keeping the 6.5s in my stock door and the kickpanel actually has a set of 5.25 xr jls on it already. i was thinking of getting rid of my rears and pdx and use jl everything.

my original plans were following:

Type-R 6.5s in stock door.

JL XT 5.25s in kickpanels

Get JL 6x9s or Alpine 6x9s in rear.

Use PDX to power the 5.25s and the rear and my RF Punch 550.2 to power the R 6.5s

or

JL 6.5 XRs in stock doors

JL 5.25 in kickpanels

JL 300/4 to power them

JL 6x9s in rear with a small amp to power those....

Basically, i can switch the Type-R 6.5s with the JL 6.5s easily, but getting another amp is a pain so I figured getting rid of the rears would be best option.

I hate choosing...

not really

i got a friend who wants the jl 6.5 xrs for sure so im selling him that. my kickpanels have jl xr 5.25s installed on them.

i can always sell my type r 6.5s and the jl 5.25 then go buy completely different type of speakers. also looking to replace my 6x9s.

well another friend may buy my jl 300/4. i think ill just go get type-r 6x9s and keep my pdx to power type r 6.5s and 6x9s. need to trade or sell my rockford fosgate punch 550.2 to get smaller amp to power the jl 5.25.

try Arc Audio they nice, i have 2 of them Arc K Series 1000.1 and 300.4, Polk Audio SR6500 comp on front, Hertz High Energy coax on rear and 2 12 IDQv.3 sub, i like them a lot better than my JL set up.

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.
