alpine to hifonics?

so i have read about hifonics and hear they are pretty good, and not to mention cheap $$, would it be worth either selling my alpine mrp-m500 amp which i paid 240 for(w/ wiring) last month, and usuing that money and getting a hifonice brutus amp the 1200 wrms one, to power my single 12" type r or selling both and going with the same amp and getting 2 12" or a 15" hifonics sub? any thoughts thanks

I would say so, because I know that Type R should probably handle 750rms+ pretty easy. Hifonics is pretty good from what I have read, it is what I am going with on my next amp.

I don't know enough about the sub to tell you, but I do know the Alpine Type R is a bad ass sub for the price man.

shoudn't get stinky unless gains are too high. i'm giving 2 12's 1200 watts and they are fine.

^^ wow man...got enough bass? i got a single 12" type r and it hits hard haha. great sub for teh $$. i got the sub for $125 and i'm powering it with an alpine mrp-m500 amp that i got for 150 shipped brand new. using knukonceptz wire. i like the amp because it's kinda made for the type-r...same brand same RMS output
