Alpine time correction Cd player- need models

I currently have a decent 2006 model Alpine HU, but i really want the time correction features like the 9855 without having to buy a h701 alpine processor. Is there any other 2005-06 models that feature this option that is not glide control>?

Also if anyone on here uses a the 9855 do you like the glide fuctions? I was told it was hard to use.

alpine started the glide touch in 2005 so no there isn't a 2005-2006 alpine hu that has time correction. here's the list of the alpine hu's i know for sure have time correction:

9835,9833,9815,9813, 7998.

im almost a hundred percent sure that 9853 and 9855 have time correction...

I had a 9855 for about 6 months until I sold the car it was in.

I had no gripes about the glidetouch. I mean, it was different and took about 5 minutes to get used to... but then it was all good.

I liked the head unit overall. My only real issue was you could not adjust the volume while you were tuning it. For example, if you were adjusting the crossovers you couldn't raise or lower the volume.

Yea, the 9855 has time alignment, active crossovers, & 5 band peq

i know the 9855 does, but i am not sure on the 9853. i guess i should check it out, i own both. i love the glide touch. it takes time to get used to, but once i did it grew on me and i love it.

dont smoke the green tobacco and you wont find yourself sticking the brown tobacco in the deck.
