Alpine SPS or Alpine SPR

My vote would be that you save the money and spring for the SPRs.

I tried the SPS coax and didn't like them because they had too much cross talk in the mid range area and sounded distorted. Next up was a set of SPS comps, which were a significant improvement over the coax, but weren't as smooth sounding as i wanted them to be. Finally, I ended up with a Type R woofer and a CDT tweeter in my 1997 Civic EX. I had already modified the CDT tweeter to fit my tweeter pods and the Type R 6.5 dropped right into the factory location. Music to my ears!

haha. i had that same prob. but i decided to order the spr's and two 12" alpinne subs- sws 1243d. 4 ohms. did u get ur speakers yet. tell me how u like em.
