ALPINE SPR 13c ... anyone ever use or hear em?

^^

Mr. touchdowntodd

those Alpines are ok sounding.

Im just trying to help you get the best for your money.

if you want to stick with the name brands that you know look into pioneer, they make good all around product

im not as into name brands as i am good value... but its hard when i havent heard anything or seen reviews on it..

im an old school guy, i still have round solo barics and old MTX thunder amps..

Hey those MTX older amps built like a beast.

I've learn not always listen or taake everyones review off CA.com or DIYMA.

I use to buy something from reviews which in turn i thought wasnt as good as the hype they make some products out be.

Like CDT Audio i bought because everyone at the time was jocking those speakers, so i jumped on the bandwagon as well.

Cdt Audio isnt worth price that the company is asking for there product.

I felt the samr way about the lower line of SEAS tweeters which other jock as well, they are good tweeters but they arent anything what people make them out to be, yes I've owned 2 pairs.

So what im saying is if you buy a speaker because of all the reviews, you may not get what you're looking for.

dont cloud your mind with reviews, i will say the Image Dynamics do live up to the hype.

My friend in frisco owns a tuner shop which he is carring ID products.

He going to stand behind what he sells so they are doing a rebiuld in his niissan 300z.

he's doing comps in the front, coax in the rear & 2 idq 8's in the hatch, they are taking out rear seat to make an amp rack,I think his system will be 1600watts, i think.

Im not sure if you knew that alpine doesnt make there own comps or coax speakers!

buy from a company that makes there speakers like ID,HERTZ,MOREL,FOCAL,VIFA,HIVI,PEERLESS

I hate the alpine type R anything (not subs, decent for SPL). Honestly I would take the Type S stuff over them any day. The Rs just seem to be made to take alot of power, get loud, and thats about it. Quality seems to be the last thing on their mind when making them. The Type S stuff is cheaper, i think the tweeter is far less harsh and they still have decent output and SQ.

Really though, I would look into the Rainbow coaxials. They make some real good stuff.
