alpine - Skip?

Hey guys, i was lookin 4 a new HU, and i came across this one:

but in the specs, near the bottom, it says "Anti-shock Memory None "

does this mean it will skip??

Yo man!!!

The last thing that this unit would do is skip! If there is no so called "Anti-shock memory" it doesnt mean it will skip. Especially not ALPINE!! It just means, that alpine's mechanism is so good that it doesn't need some bull***t antishock systems. I own an Alpine h/u and I haven't heard it skip ONCE! And I've had it for two years now and it's not even some newer model (CDE-7854R). I think anybody who owns (or owned) an Alpine will confirm that.

So, the point of the story:

The word SKIP is not in the ALPINE's vocabulary!

Hope it helps, BTW - it's a great choice if you go with that model.

I have an alpine deck also and know a couple of other people that do. I have never heard an alpine deck skip and never heard of one ever skipping before. Go with an alpine deck. They are the best around.

hey i have an alpine deck also. and dont get me wrong i love alpine and think those and pioneers are by far teh best head units you can buy. but i have to say so far i havent been impressed with me alp. its skips all the time! i do drive on a lot of dirt roads but it skips way more than i woudl expect from an alpine.
