Alpine radio to Ford Factory equalizer.

Installing the Alpine CDA-7892 radio in my 1988 Marcury Cougar I had to bypass the 7 band graphic equalizer and amplifier. I also had to isolate the grounds and run extra wires to the 6 factory speakers. A sub-woofer is also installed.

Alpine's internal equalizer is not a graphic system and I am trying to re-install the original plus one more (for front and rear speakers) graphic equalizer. My question is threefold:

1. Is the radio too powerful for the Ford equalizer circuitry?

2. Will I have to insert the equalizers into the Alpine circuitry before amplification?

3. Where can I get schematic diagrams for the Ford Graphic equalizer?
