Alpine PXA-H701 questions

I remember a guy had one of these hookep up to a w505

Anyways im looking to get the w205 and PXA-H701 for a really good price

my main question is ,the h701 is connected to the alpine 205 though a ai-net cable....so the display will be on the unit it self??

I see that the h701 does alot more than I probably need. Is there a alpine processor that just does eq and time alignment?

I really dont need DTS or pro logic

you don't have to use the dts or pro logic. Its there for those that have dvd HU like the 505, since they have digital output like toslink fiber optic.

The main features I use on my h701 is

phase

time alignment

x-over

G-EQ

And yes, you would control the h701 through your HU. The Ai-net should also act as the remote turn on for your h701 as well, so you don't need to connect it through the power harness of the h701
