OK, LISTEN!! I have the exact same HU( a great one gy the way) but, now to the point. IF you just read the **** manual that came with the HU it says (quote).

It is possible to title your favorite CD's or radio stations.

You cannot input titles on MP3 discs.

wav files do not have id tags

also the cd text thing in nero writes the text as it is shown on the screen where you have the list of tracks you are about to burn and I think you you can rename all of the files there to whatever you want it to burn

that's kind crappy the 7893 doesn't support cd-text, my old 7873 did
