Alpine PDX1.600

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this amp. Right now I am running an MB Quart RA1000.1. Probably putting out 7-800 clean watts, guess not proven. But one of my acquaintances has an Alpine PDX1.600 for sale.

I am looking for PURE SQ. I will be running a CDT QES1220 in a sealed .62 cu.ft enclosure.

For those that know SQ, would you replace the MB Quart with the Alpine, or just stick with what you have???

I had the 1st gen. It was the worst sounding amp I've ever heard.

I read they got better on the second gen. No personal experiance with those. I had the 600 and 150.2. Both where horrible
