ALPINE PDX1.1000 to much for 1 type R?

Is the PDX1.1000 gonna be to much for 1 10" alpine type R (4ohms)? thank you guys

If so, what do you guys recommend? Dont wanna go over 350 for an amp

Just watch the gains and should be fine, although 500rms over recommened isn't the best thing for any speaker. However with that said, I have seen many people run 1000rms to them with no problems and others run 500rms to them and blow them. Just have to know what you are doing.

i'd go Audioque 1200 before i'd use the Alpine Pdx.

yea i called alpine and they told me it would be fine with one 10" type R.. but i really need confirmation from people not trying to sell me their product lol No bias lol

Get it, just make sure your gains are set with a DMM like said before.

ya you could always set the gain for like 6-700 and have some head room. or get 2 type Rs

i gave mine 1300rms and it was fine

Mine was a 12"
