are these thing worth the price tag. i was thinking about getting one when i get rid of my subs to power all four but even buying them off ebay is high. has anyone on here has play wit these thangs and if so how are they. do they run cool and do rated power.

I have a 600.1 for 300 739 watts on the birth sheet but at 14.4, and the PDX 4.150 I stack them and they are running fine and sounding great, search there are a couple of threads on them

yeah ive search but little results. everybody like to have one but i think its to pricey for an alpine. maybe someone else will chime in.

I almost bought one from a local person, but the guy was kinda shady. Amp is very nice looking, though. Very compact, don't think you will find a smaller 150 x 4 amp, and it does that power at 4 or 2 ohm. Yeah, their pretty pricey, though, especially if you plan to match it up with the PDX-1.100 or two.

is there much listening difference in the 100 x 4 than the 150 x 4.

I just bought a 2.150 today absolutely love it. It is rated at 150x2 and birthed at 169x2. I have it bridged on my sub.

I was strongly leaning towards the 4.150. I chose the DD S4a instead.

The 4.150, 1.1000 vs. S4a,M1a combo was about equal in price.

I went digital designs because the sub amp is strappable and the amp was shorter (about 1/2", which matters in my install)

The S4a does 200x2 & 100x2, which works for active a little better.

If you are trying to find something small and good power, none of the choices are going to much below $425-450.

ive auditioned those buggers at an audio store and i was very impressed at their performance and their size. holy shit theyre small

I've sold and installed a ton. I love em. They're sexy, solidly built, do well over rated power, and fairly user friendly...

I ordered my pdx-2.150 earlier today from eBay for $209. He had pic and it was a little bigger than a dvd case. About 2"s on all sides, pretty **** small.

I think they are closer to 3" than 2", but small either way.
