Alpine PDX 1.600 enought to run CDT-es80sq

I always suggest the biggest amp you can afford. You can only turn an amp up so far but you can always turn it down. I don't know alpine stuff very well but I would guess it puts out around 600 watts. You might want a little more then that, in my opinion. Don't just look at the name on the amp but the watts you are getting for your money. You will barely notice a difference in noise from amp to amp when powering subs. I have been looking into amps that make good power at 2ohms also and have come up with the kenwood 9103 ($200) and the kicker 750.1 ($220 or less). The kenwood is claimed to put out 900 watts RMS and the kicker is claimed to put out 750 watts RMS but will probably do a bit more.
