alpine over pioneer

i have a 400$ alpine

i have not had a pioneer since the around the time the first supertuner III's came out. I have installed and controlled alot. They aren't a shitty head unit. Just not to the specs of an alpine unit. There is really no comparison. If you are looking for truth. You get what you pay for. So obviously, there are different types of head units available that are better. By the way, I am an automotive painter for peep's that want to know and I do make good money. I am also really big into car stereo and have come across almost anything you have heard of. For those that want to talk shit try me. It's on! I have a 97 concorde. A 95 nissan truck. A 99 Chevy truck. And a 78 Buick Regal blown right the **** up! Just so you Know.

Man, the attitude about this sublject is amazining. For the recourd I didn't start this thread I just replied. I will back my opinion that pioneers are cheaply made just like the guy who said it feels like it is gonna break when you touch it. I like alpine. I will also however agree with the guy who said pioneer is a good bang for your buck. Pioneer is obviously cheaper in price. As far as the guy with the supra and all his pictures. It's a nice deck man get over it already. All in all I see alot of people replied and it's seems to be more of an opinion matter. Alpine decks are not ugly in any manner, so I don't really want to hear about that.

I asked to see pictures of his deck. It's an awsome deck, as you stated. Cant you just say its nice and not "get over it already" ? Cant someone be proud of what they own?

Let's chill for a second. I was not trying to start a fight in any way. I am however proud of my deck and won't stand for anyone belittling it. I only posted pictures because they were requested. I was not showing off. My signature speaks for itself I actually was defending pioneer when I initially posted. Many people feel that because pioneer can be found at places like Wal-Mart that they are inferior in some ways. It's just like any other company, there are different levels of performance. Toyota for example, you have the Corolla, you have the Solara and then you have the Supra. All Toyotas, all have different levels of performance Try not to make such general statements. When you are new to any message boards and make such statements, people tend not to take you seriously and discredit everything you say.

Hey man, you got a Supra? I wanna see pics!!! I have had all Alpine decks, but pioneer and alpines top lines are very very compaarble, and your deck is just plain old sick
