Alpine or Boston Acoustics?

I compared both side by side and I thought the bostons were a little bit better. The alpines had a better low end but the bostons had a better high end, but at low levels they were pretty much the same. I bought the alpines though because they were cheaper and they sounded fine.

The Boston's high end is like nothing Alpine can make, that's why people BUY Bostons, put 250 watts on one and it will SING, put the same power on an Alpine it will FRY.

Go with the Bostons and give them a lot more than 100 watts if you can.

I had a pair of Kappa Perfects in here before these Bostons, 687.2cf's actually. They fried under the same power that the Bostons handled, hence my search for powerful speakers. The imaging is good on the KP's, but the Boston is by far the superior product.
