Alpine MRV-F545 Power Type X 10in ==== NEED ADVICE ASAP !!!!

I am about to buy a type X 10in'' but the guy wants to make me a deal on his MRV-F545 which does 4x225RMX or 1x500rms when bridged to ch 3/4

on the speccs it says

500 watts RMS x 1 (When channels 3/4 are briged) + 125 watts

what does the +125watt mean ? can i add them up to get 625 out of this

ANyways he is givng me a REALLY good deal if i take both

can i power the sub with this amp ?

i just dont understand how to wire this amp to the sub

the sub is a type x dual VC 4ohms meaning when in action it can only power to 2ohm

but the amp only does 500rms at 4ohms and wont do 2ohms

so would i only use 1VC to do 500rms ?

and not touch the 2nd VC ?
