Will the 600w rms @ 4 ohms be enough for 2 12" kicker cvr DVC 4 ohm subs?

The subs are 400w rms each. Will the 600w do?

Just a quick question..I gotta know before I take the amp back to the shop.. They screwed me and told me it was 1000w @ 1 ohm but it's not.. it's 1000 @ 2 ohms. And I can't hook my subs to 2 ohms so the only other option is a 4 ohm load, in which the amp would be producing 600w to power the 2 400w subs. Enough? Or No?
