alpine mrp-m1000 question

I'm sure it'll be fine if you have enough electrical to keep the voltage from dipping too low.

Even a stock electrical system (depending on the vehicle) should do it no problem.

 
well the battery is stock for now, but i have 0 ga power and 4 ga ground running from the battery to a 5 farad cap, so it sounds like i should be fine.

 
Remove the capacitor.

Perform the Big Three in 1/0 and replace the 4G ground with 1/0.

ditch the cap as stated. Ive run SEVERAL amps that were only 2ohm stable down at 1ohm and with box rise have had no problem. 1.5 SHOULD work. The amp will let you know. It will go into protect before it hurts anything.

 
thanks for the info, though this is just the sloppy middle, you should have seen where i started at, lmao. anyways i plan on the following, the big 3 will be done, the ground will be switched to 0 ga, and i plan on a kinetik hc1800 to replace the starting battery.

although the cap did seem to help when all i had hooked up was my jl250, steady volts and no dimming, but yeah, i understand that it won't help me very much in a higher power setup, but i thought it not bad for a smaller setup.

 
I think the cap it either a small help or a complete miss. For me, people were definitely correct. Adding a Kinetic battery and Deka Intimatador under the hood took care of business . The 210 amp alt always helps too. Good luck dude. Hope it works for ya Alpine FTW
