I've been looking around for a dece amp that wont kill me in the price department, and this amp looks dece, as it's stated to put out 350 watts x 2 channels when bridged at 4 ohms and looking at posts by 'george' and other members on this board apparently these comps need alot of power to sound loud and good, not the 150 watts that the speakers are rated at.

so i'm wondering if the alpine MRP-F450 amp would suffice for them or will the power be too much for hte speakers resulting in them blowing? thanks guys.

one problem...the bostons are 3ohms and that amp is only stable at 4 ohms bridged //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

as ive said in plenty of other threads...go to ebay find the rockford fosgate punch 150 (25 to Life limited edition ONLY). its actually 189.99 now plus shipping from the "Millionbuy.com" store. a super underrated amp (mine is 300w @ 4 ohms per channel) so it will suit your needs. powers my pro60's just fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
