I bought a used Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel amp. I would like to use it to power a pair of coaxil speakers (my front stage) and also a single subwoofer.

The coaxils are 4 ohms each and will get 50wrms.

The subwoofer is a dual 4 ohm subwoofer.

If I bridge the subwoofer, the amplifier will see a 2 ohm load across a pair of it's terminals.

I do not see the 3 channel specs listed anywhere on Alpine's website or it's instruction manual telling me if it is safe or not to run one side of it's terminals at 2 ohm mono.

Can anyone verify?

Thanks

You would have to run it at 8 ohms. 2 ohm mono would probably smoke that amp. Get a single 4 or dual 2 ohm sub for best results with that amp.
