I have an MRP-F250 to power two sets of Alpine SPS-600 coaxials. I have never installed amps or anything before. I want to know how I need to wire this amp to the speakers.
1. The speakers are currently connected to the head unit. Do I disconnect the speakers from the head unit, run new wires and connect the speakers directly to the amp, and run the RCA cables (front and rear) from the amp to the head unit?
2. Or, do I do everything as mentioned before, but leave the previous connections from the head unit to the speakers?
FYI, I already have the amp installed and working properly, and I tried scenario 2 because I only had 1 RCA cable, but I couldn't really tell any difference in sound or loudness.
Thanks for your help.
