Would this be a good buy for $50?

I want an another amp to power my speakers. Will 40 watts RMS be a big differnce from 20RMS that my head unit puts out?

Do you think an extra 40 watts would make a big differnce?

I dont want to ad to much more wattage to my car because I only have one battery so I think this might be a good buy. You're thoughts?

EDIT: Oops forgot link here it is

To wire a 4 channel amp I basically just need to run speaker wire to each speaker and RCAs from the head unit to the amp right? I dont need to connect each speaker to the head unit do I?

Nope. It's very simple.
Ok cool im doing it then. I am going to just run another power wire to the battery because I screwed up and ran 8 gauge for sub amp that is in the trunk so I will not be able to bridge that.

Is under the passengers seat a good place to but an amp or will it get to hot there? (It actually probably wont even fit there. Maybe I could just put it on the floor behind it. No one sits back there anyways lol)

I got one small 250 watt RMS 12" sub so I think 40 per speaker would be enough? If not ill bridge it up and power just the rears with it.

Id power the fronts and disconnect the rears. If you bridged it youd have decent power in the front and the rears tend to muddy the overall sound anyway.
I just got some pretty cool 6x9s 225 watt speakers for the rear though.

I really should disconnect them? Or could I least power the fronts instead

I should be going to get this amp on Sunday

Hope its good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i have one and yes it is a good improvement
What gauge wire do you use for it? It says on the website to use 10 gauge but I kind of wanted to use 8 gauge. Think I can trim down 8 gauge a little and make it fit or is that bad to do? I got the amp and it looks like I might be able to fit some 8 gauge in there, not sure though.
