Alpine M500 or Kenwood 8104D?

I have 2 12" Infinity Reference subs that need an amp. I was pretty set on gettin the Alpine M500 then I came across the Kenwood 8140D. Both have pretty much the same specs and both put out 500W RMS x 1 @ 2ohms. The only difference is the price, I can get the alpine for about $175 and the kenwood for $130. Which one would you choose, or are there better amps out there around $150 bucks?
