Alpine ixa w404??

Hey dude,

I got one and had the same problem. After searching on the net i found the answer. You need to connect the yellow/blue wire to your handbrake switch cable and then your yellow/black wire to your foot pedal switch (might have to find out which one since there are a few)

These two cables should be heaps longer than the others.

Once they are connected. With your ignition on Accesorys or the car running. You need to do the following:

- Start with the handbrake disengaged and your foot off the brake pedal.

- Push down the foot brake pedal and hold it down

- Lift the handbrake

- Drop the handbrake (so the light on the dash turns off)

- Lift the handbrake again

- Let go of the foot brake

Now you should have all the setup options. What a pain in the a$$. Couldnt find anything in the manual either, had to google heaps and found it.

Good luck

Alex

Yea it really is a pain but the thing is that i have the foot and hand brake wires connected to the pac7

and i havent been able to find anything but alot of people seem to have this problem
