Alpine IVA-W205 (need help)

after installing this double din, i connected the wires to my stock amp I notice the sound isn't so great. When I turn the sound up higher it gets distorted. Can an expert in here help me out please?

im not familiar with those h/u does it have an internal amp? the preouts on this are probably higher than those of your stock h/u so the stock amp is putting out all its power to soon in the volume spectrum..

is it true in the harness there's a switch or something to increase the sound volume?
