Alpine IVA-W200 and PXA-H701....Crossover ???

I wanted to know if the PXA-H701 would work with my current setup. I have my componet speakers wired with there passive crossovers. The Alpine PXA-H701 has a Active crossover. The only reason I want the PXA-H701 is for the EQ . Will my Passive Crossovers work with the H701 without doing the active setup ?

yes but why would you want to spend all that money on a eq? it would be wasting a great processor. go buy an eq from like audiocontrol or one of many 31 band eq's out there?

Well I bought the H701 from my buddy for $250.00 and I like were the EQ settings will be on the IVA-W200 Touch Screen.

anyways to answer your question, yes it'll work fine. just high pass your components on the h701 and you are good to go. but its such a shame getting the h701 w/o going active //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

I'm aiming to get myself a h701 to match with my 9835.

i also agree that it's a shame to have that unit and use it for it's full potential. that is one badass unit.
