Alpine iva-d310r heeeeeeeeelp

I'am a noob here so take it easy

Is the Alpine iva-d310r monitor compatible with the iva-d300 brain tuner box.

I installed them today but cant get the monitor to power up.

Everything else(cd changer and nav unit)are powering up from the brain unit.

Read online that the dc to dc converter might be the cause:crazy:

Please please help as I cant find any info online
