Alpine IVA-D106

I am thinking of buying and installing the Alpine IVA-D106 DVD player into my car. The motorized mechanism of the LCD monitor is of concern to me as it slides in and out of the unit. Please advise me of your experience with this unit if you have this unit installed in your car. Thanks.

I have had 2-units and no problems at all with mechanical retracting etc.. The only problem i had was with the video on one unit everytime I hit a bump I would get a scrolling lines in the unit the new one is fine!
