Alpine in-dash with two 5"x7"s?

for the level headunit it is it will do pretty well. It leaves room for expansion and has an accessible aux input.

AS for the install I would look up how to remove your door panels, a vehicle specific forum should have a walk through or picture. Swapping with the same size speakers and on headunit power will be easy as you will be able to use the factory wiring. You will have to either cut your factory wiring or find adapters to use the factory wiring though.

I got the door panel part down, I did it today just to look at the stock speakers. The thing I'm worried about is having to cut the wiring.

if you cut it back far enough you will be able to reconnect it later. you could run a new length of wire as well. All you would do is not connect the speaker leads to the adapter you would connect to the wires you ran to the doors.
