Alpine Imprint Sound in a truck.

I have no idea how to make it only test the first three spots up front. Trying to help two friends tune theirs. The car was easy. This truck is a pain. Doing a Front Tune but its asking to stick the mic in the back seat...... of a regular cab truck. Thx for any input. For reference the system has only front Focal KRX2 comps on a JL 300/2 and a single 8" W7 on a JL 500/1.

which of the imprint modules are you using?

I have the 9887 and the KTX-100EQ. Got both tuned. The car has Focal 165 K2P. Tune sounds good at low volume but turn it up and its WAY to harsh. The truck has the Focal 165 KRX2 (replaced K2P) still harsh but not like the K2P set. The K2P had this point were as soon as they got a certain amount of power it just got crazy harsh. The truck with KRX2 stayed more consistant under power. Also both tunes felt like they lacked mid bass. I got the subs to play loud after doing some reading and setting the sub gains pretty low then raising after the tune. My personal tune is much warmer sounding. Not harsh at loud volume but doesn't seem to get as loud as the Imprint tune which felt like it would never distort. The timing correction was pretty amazing on the Imprint tune. I wish I had more options. Reference Curve with Mid compensation sounded best. I have to say the new Focal set just sounds better then the old. I ran those K2P for 4 years and know them well. The KRX2 are smoother and easier to listen to.
