hey.. i just got a 9835 and i wanna see some screenshots of some settings.

i dont really know how to set the crossovers and equalizer because i dont really get the dB stuff and the slopes.. so can i someone "print screen" your settings on ipersonalize? or maybe just simply state your settings? thanks

i know its confusing at first but just play with it man, have the manual in front of you so you know what button does what while adjusting. mine is in the mode where i can adjust the sub, rear speakers, and front speakers, if you're too lazy to mess with the slopes just mess around with the level of them(put it higher if you want more output for your sub/rear/front)

lol i got the exact same deck, and i was thinkin the same. i honestly suggest just **** around with it,

change the slopes and leave it at whatever u like sounding the best

ull start picking up on it

i had to change my front and rear minus a few -db because they were pushin my stock speakers too loud n my deck would cut out

is it wired directly to the battery? alpine recommends that so maybe you should try it if you're having problems like that

for mine around 20 it gets loud (stock speakers, gains for front/rear all the way down). before I had all the gains all the way up but the speakers were over powering my sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif lol might be worth trying the power straight to battery, maybe you'll get even better performance

would i connect the yellow wire or the red wire to the batt

i only ask this cuz on my car harness it says yellow is memory and red is power

and on my deck the yellow is power (which kinda confuses me how they dun match up)

but i got it connected yellow to yellow newayz n functions right

yeah if your settings stay the same when you turn off your car and turn it back on then everythings hooked up right, im not sure which one to use to the battery, you can probably find the answer in a search

budd, i was just on alpine site (alpine1.com or alpine-usa.com) they got a link on the first page for ipersonalize settings, u got to register its free i sugget u check it out
