alpine head unit and alpine eq

i was wondering if anyone knew if the alpine cda 9885 h/u is compatible with the cda 5755g eq w/dsp functions. questioning if connected by the ai net cable will it function properly. being that the cda 5755g is an older unit that alpine made compared to the newer cda 9885 h/u? thanks for helping me out in advance.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
