Alpine DVA9965

I currently have an alpine DVA9965 in my truck. Did some reading online and saw that it offers a handful of features and has decent SQ. for this build I am definitely aiming towards SQ. I'd keep my current deck but I really want a double din with Bluetooth and possibly nav. I just have no idea which double din will have outstanding SQ? would i have to run an external processor? Have no knowledge or experience with processors or sq builds so just looking for someone to point me in the right direction.

Basically just looking for a solid double din that I'll be happy with for a long while.

any idea how much I could ask for the 9965?

you have a real nice piece there, how much you can get depends on the market - $500, more if you have all the original packing, etc.

the new line of double din by Alpine has their TuneIt feature with 9-band parametric, 6-channel time correction, and adjustable crossover point/slope/level (not active capable).

to take things further (further than your 9965) the PXA-H800 is available (with RUX-C800 controller). You would have the ability for full active capability and more tuning.

Appreciate the reply, I'll look in to the H800. My only concern is selling the 9965, upgrading for a touchscreen Dd but down grading the SQ and features. Just don't want to make a noob mistake.

I know you can purchase a double din for 3-400 bucks and there are some for 1500+. If someone could maybe shoot me a short list of decks that'll suit my needs that'll be great! Really lost on brands and models to shop around for.

Find an Alpine 910 or something with optical output to complement that H800.
