For the programs that calculate the port length you enter in all usable airspace in the box (take away sub disp.) It calculates the length for the starting airspce....you can't calculate port disp if you don't know the length yet...the only thing it doesn't account for is the disp. of the wood/plastic/ect used to make the port....but unless the length is very long it won't affect the final tuning much....not an exact science. Whether it ends up 28,29,30,31, or 32 your not gunna hear much difference at all.

did you account for port displacement BEFORE you calculated the vb (final net volume) to find the tuning? jw, peace

Yes, port displacement (and driver displacement) was accounted for. I have 4.77 or so cubes (internal dimensions 34.5x16.5x14.5) with 0.17cuft driver displacement and exactly 0.29cuft port displacement (that counts MDF and port volume, only within the internal dimensions)

Yeah, I'm smart. And contrary to popular belief, i believe box building IS an exact science.

You know the Damplifer you sent me way back in the day ... when you were just starting out and were looking for reviews on the product - yeah, it hasn't peeled off or fell apart at all. It looks exactly the same as when I first used it. Looks good...what year is that? I have a 92 and your interier looks very similar. Good job fitting a box in there, mine barely fit. The trunk opening is pretty small on these cars, but the trunk is pretty big...but my mom has a 2002 model and it looks like they fixed that.

Not me, with all the weight I added. And i deliverer pizzas so that has some effect... Over three full tanks I ended up with about 20 mpg (mostly city miles)
