Alpine DHA-S690 DVD Changer Background Wallpapers, Tech Help please

I am in desperate need of advice regarding APN picture files and making custom ones as background wallpaper images on my Alpine DHA-S690 DVD Changer.

There used to be a site called Pride Rock Labs where you could submit a picture and the guy would convert it for you to the correct APN file format, this could then be loaded onto a disc to upload onto the DVD Changer. Unfortunately this site no longer operates, hence my problem. I can't even find the correct dimensions the file had to be, let alone a converter.

Any help in this matter is gratefully received as I really need to update the wallpaper.

There are some background wallpapers available via the http://i-personalize.alpine.com website, but I was after a more custom Wallpaper. The guy that used to run the Pride Rock site would make hundreds of custom ones in batches every month, so there was always something relevant, or you could send your own pic to be converted, however he pulled the site a few years back, & did't let anyone know how it was done, or post up a simple conversion program (to my knowledge).
