Alpine D-310

I was looking into this bad boy and wanted to know if it was worth the 1200$$ i could get it for. And if you had the option would u go with this of the Avic-n2. I know the Avic-N2 has the navi but besides that major difference which hu would u chose? OR does anyone know of a better hu for the same price or cheaper?

If I were buying a screen it would be the AVIC-N2 because I want nav. If you can get it for 1200 thats worth it, does it come with a warranty or no? Where are you getting it from? The 310 is quite a nice screen, great picture quality.

yea i noticed that the quality was better than the n2 or maybe it was just the setup...As far as getting the 310, ebay..2 year warranty. But i want the navi too but i dont know i have played around with the n2 in like best buy and stuff i just thought that the 310 was setup better and easier to get around in but the n2 was just a floor model and i really didnt know what i was doing but i want the navi so im thinking n2

It all comes down to the features you want, and if you want nav then hands down the N2 is the way to go. I've heard N2's as well as N1's and IVA-D310 and 300's in many different setups, and I would find it hard to say that either the pioneer or the alpine have better SQ. iPersonalize on the alpine is a nice way to do your tuning, but the N2 has very comprable menus and adjustment options.
