Alpine CDM 7854 and Ipod...

Is it possible to hook up an Ipod directly to my Alpine CDM 7854 head unit? If so what cables would I need to do this? I have an Alpine cd changer connected to mine right now, so not sure if that would affect anything. Thanks

Errr, it's using an M-bus...hence 'CDM'.

Let me check Crutchfield and see if they make an M-bus splitter...

On the changer...is there an extra output?

The changer is a CHM 5611.

Well with that changer you cannot hook your ipod directly to the radio.

The only option you have to get a direct connection (not VIA FM modulator) is ditching the changer and buying the M-bus to RCA plug and hooking your ipod up through that.
