get the alpine,the only pioneer i would choose over the the 147 is the prs now if you care about looks go for the pioneer caues the alpine isent much to look at but the alpine give you way more sq options then the pioneer

the prs is a true sq unit the the cde is just a good deck with some sq Features the prs would be wayy better 3 way active eq options and so on and so on

yea im running that deck right now and love it sounds real close to my 117 but has bt and a bunch of features you can only get on the 117 if you bought the imprint

i have the alpine and the sq on the alpine is better becaues all the pioneer has is a 5 band eq with a highpass and low pass crossover,the alpine has a nine band eq time alighnment (something thats very important to me)and it has the same high pass and low pass crossover but you can have a diffrent crossover seting and slope for the front, rear, and sub ,with the pioneer if you set the hp to 80 hz your rear will also be set to 80hz you cant change it but with the alpine you can now thats not really a big deal if you dont run rear speakers but its a nice feature to have also you cant change the crossover slope with the pioneer again not a big deal to some buy its nice to have
