ive had this head unit for a little while now and have not had any problems with it. the reason im selling is i would like to pick up the 9827. it plays mp3/wma.. this thing is in great shape, no wear or anything on buttons. you can change the illumination from red/blue/green. price is $75+ship. can get pics, but here is a link. have alot of refs

You said red illumination or is it just the buttons that turn red and the display stays blue? Any chance it does amber?

you can change the buttons from red/green/blue.. to tell you the truth i switched through them, but just always kept it on the blue..

Switchable Button Color: The illumination of the 4 main buttons (Source/Power, Band, |>|) can be switched to any of 4 colors: Blue, Green, Amber, and Red. When the illumination is set to Blue or Green, the color of the other buttons is Green. When the illumination is set to Amber or Red, the color of the other buttons is Amber.

This took me back. My exact first unit. If I had the money I would probably buy this just for nostalgia sake. I loved it to death. RIP my head unit due to a broken off volume knob.

it has a set of fronts and a set of subwoofer preouts on the back of the deck. and sub controls on the deck.. what am i missing when people say it doesnt have sub preouts? my 9847 has a set of front, rear, and sub...???
