Alpine CDE-143BT - good deck?

I currently have an Alpine 9887 and want to get something a bit more versatile. This one seems to fit the bill quite nicely and is a good price:

My amp runs everything, so I don't use the HU for any settings or w/e, so is this good? Will it work with my 2 front speakers and subwoofer? Any other suggestions with auxiliary, ipod and bluetooth? My largest concern is going from 4v pre amp to 2v... Thanks!

Has 5v preamps but I don't like all the clutter in the rear. Any info on it?

Should be ok, the 9887 is a very nice deck tho. Out of those 2, tho, I would go with the Clarion.
