Alpine cde-102 power button

So this came with my car and i got in an accident about a month back and now the power button doesnt work. I press it and it clicks like its making contact but it wont turn off or change to ipod or anything its just stuck on radio. Does anybody know how i could possibly fix this or do I just have to buy a new faceplate? Thanks
