Alpine CDA-9887

Hey guys,

It's time for me to get a new deck, as I think my last one is just toast. I've been looking at this Alpine CDA-9887 and it seems pretty impressive (but I don't know a whole lot about this kinda stuff, I know my way around a 5 or 7 bar equalizer but thats about it).

If any of you have it, what do you think of the MultiEQ?

But most importantly.... My question is: What else do I have to buy with this deck? It seems like there is all kinds of stuff I need to make it work right (?). One being some IMPRINT sound management CD for about $30 (?) and then a IMPRINT Audio Processor for $145.

If that is the case, then I will definitely not be getting this deck.

So if you just plug and go, what does the MultiEQ button do? Just nothing at all? Also, I read there were a ton of music quality settings. How hard is it to navigate all that? I could probably take it to a shop somewhere as well right?

Its not that hard at all to navigate.... It's a heck of alot easier to navigate then my old eclipse 7100
