alpine cda-9885 any views?

i have the precursor to this one...the 9857. i personally love it. its knocks are that it doesnt have an eq, crossovers, or time delay. personally, if you're just out a for a solid HU though, i highly recommend it. the 85 has 4v pre-outs, an improvement over the 57's 2v preouts, the best ipod interface besides alpine's ida-x001, and a great display. also....its got all the little things you need....preset buttons, intuitive controls, etc. to show you just how much i like it.....i ordered a pio premier 980bt for better sound and controls. i ended up returning it cause it was so hard to use compared to the alpine. there's no preset buttons, the display is very distracting while driving, the ipod interface is atrocious.......i could go on and on. so i returned my $570 Pio HU, picked up an external EQ for 55 bucks, and stuck with my trusty alpine. you decide for yourself.

and just to make sure its clear, the only real difference between the 9885 and the 9857 are:

2v vs. 4v preouts

green/blue vs red/blue buttons

$350 vs. $275ish retail

a few changed buttons such as the phone stuff i think

that's it from my understanding. so essentially the same HU.
