Alpine CDA-9835 VS CDA-9813

If anyone of you have used either one of these units could I get some constructive feedback about these?

I have always been a Kenwood HU fan so I have really never used much other then the occasional JVC or Pioneer.

So I am looking into giving Alpine a shot.

I am looking to upgrade what I have and I have an option to pick up both decks at a really good price.

I have also been seeing conflicting spec's that the CDA-9835 has Ipod USB connection and other sites saying it doesnt.

Not very many threads on these here just a few with hey i got this HU its good ect ect.

Yes I tried this earlier, Alpines site is networked blocked at work for some reason. I'll have to check the PDF when I get home.
