Alpine / Audison / JL Audio

I'm looking for a small, not very powerfull 4 cha. amplifier but with high quality. i'm thinking of Alpine MRV-F340, Audison Power 4 or JL Audio 300/4.

The jl would probly be the best but its expensive. Alpine would be good too. Also try orion, us amps, pheonix gold, or if your on a budget even profile.

go with the jl most defidently i have had jl amps for many years now and have never had any problems with them. jl amps also deliver more power than they claim to and sound very good with most components. what are you useing the amp to power.

I'll use the amp to power boston acoustics pro 6.53 3-way syst. at front and Soundstream SPL 60 2-way syst. at the back! Both are component speakers.

Just a question. The Soundstream SPL 60 are 2 ohms and the Boston Acoustics are 3 Ohms. Can it be a problem ???

The only reason it would be a problem is that at optimal gain (max unclipped power out of the amp) the rear speakers will be getting more power than the front. Easily fixed with lower gain settings for the rear.
